Prompted by our July appearance in The Metro newspaper (Put The Petal On - modern cooking’s increased use of edible flowers), on Wednesday afternoon, ITV Meridian News’ Sarah Saunders got in touch.

Sarah asked if she could come along to The Curlew to interview our Head Chef, Neil, about the use of edible flowers in modern cooking.

Filming took place yesterday, on Thursday afternoon, between two and three. Neil told Sarah about how The Curlew uses seasonal flowers and the growing enthusiasm for edible flowers in general. He also cooked a dish live for Sarah there and then using courgette flowers.
